I met up with Holly for a bit of off camera flash shooting yesterday. She’s wanting to increase the size of her modelling portfolio, so it was a great chance to shoot some creative lighting shots. Shooting with two off camera flashgund takes a bit longer than i’d normally take, but the results are well worth it! Here is a selection of shots from the shoot to give a flavour of what you can do.               no comments Friends of ours Shane & Lauren came to stay with us over the weekend so we could get a chance to do some engagement photos for them. They are due to be married at Calcot Manor in the Cotswolds at the end of March, and it was a chance to meet up and discuss their plans for the day over dinner. We also spent half an hour or so getting some shots of them together, and thankfully the late afternoon sun decided to shine on us after a rather dull February day. It was great to see them again, thanks for a nice evening too; and I look forward to photographing for them again on their wedding day. no comments I met up with Natasha & Doug on Saturday for their engagement shoot at Bovey Castle. They have a really great set of images, and once again the fabulous crisp light enabled me to really refine my style, and provide a set of images that i’m really proud of! Natasha & Doug are due to marry later on this year, and I look forward to meeting up with them again in August.                      no comments .               I met up with Rosie & Alex for a shoot in my local village on a day with beautiful light. Rosie & Alex married recently, and this was a chance for them to have more relaxed casual photos for themselves. We’ve once again been really lucky to have such glorious light, and it’s a great chance to refine my style. Thanks to Rosie & Alex for being so relaxed, and just generally being a great couple. no comments I shot some portraits recently of Hannah & gavin’s Daughter, Ava. It’s amazing what you can do in a short space of time, and on a rainy day. Most of these photos are taken on the kitchen table, and light with natural light.           no comments |
